Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of leading the finance departments of two highly successful startups.

The first was Applitools, an incredible company specializing in visual testing technology. Applitools developed a cutting-edge product for QA testers and was acquired in 2021 by an American venture capital firm in a deal valued at around $250 million.

After that, I joined Eleos Health, a groundbreaking company in the field of mental health. Eleos revolutionized the world of mental health therapy through smart, data-driven technology designed to empower clinicians and improve care.

Throughout these journeys, I managed a wide range of financial processes — one of the most sisyphus and recurring being payroll management. I often found myself thinking how, despite the tremendous technological progress in almost every field, payroll systems still felt outdated:
reports that don’t reflect the modern era, long and sisyphean processes that could easily be streamlined, and service experiences that could be much more efficient.  AND - many employees don't know how to read the slip.

That realization led me to found EasyRoll — a company with a mission to bring freshness, innovation, and simplicity to the world of payroll.
